Job summary

Hoseright is seeking an experienced Hose Technician to lead our Wangara branch and directly assist walk-in customers with hose and hydraulic solutions. You’ll diagnose issues, assemble and test hoses, manage stock, prepare quotes and invoices, and maintain a safe workshop.

Ideal candidates have extensive hose/hydraulic experience, strong product knowledge, and a customer‑focused approach. You’ll work independently, while collaborating with the team to deliver reliable service in a WA-owned

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a hose technician, hydraulic technician or mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic hoses, fittings and components.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
• A proactive approach with the confidence to take ownership and get things done.

Hoseright is looking for an experienced, self-motivated Hose Technician to take the lead at the Wangara branch. This is an opportunity for an experienced hose tech or mechanic who enjoys working directly with customers, solving technical problems and taking ownership of a branch.

Key responsibilities

Providing hands-on hose and hydraulic solutions to walk-in customers

Hose identification, assembly, testing and troubleshooting

Building and maintaining strong customer relationships

Managing branch stock and workshop supplies

Preparing quotes and processing sales and invoices

Maintaining a safe, clean and efficient workshop

Working closely with the wider Hoseright team to deliver great service to customers

About you

Extensive experience as a hose technician, hydraulic technician or mechanic

Strong knowledge of hydraulic hoses, fittings and components

Confident identifying, diagnosing and providing solutions to hydraulic hose and fitting requirements

A strong focus on quality, accuracy and safety

Someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organised and efficient workshop
