Job summary

Jag X is seeking A-Grade Electricians for Manufacturing with experience in electrical switchgear, control systems, stand-alone power systems and charging equipment from 360kW to 1.4MW, supporting projects across WA's mining, renewables and infrastructure sectors.

The full-time permanent role is based at the client’s Kewdale Workshop in WA, offering a 38-hour week with overtime evenings/weekends at the client’s discretion, and flexible roster options including a 4-day week.

Qualifications

• Must hold WA A-Grade Electrical Licence and Electrical Trade Qualification.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• CPR/LVR and First Aid would be advantageous.
• Experience in electrical maintenance, production or construction; recent graduates welcome.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screens.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical drawings and follow plans to meet specifications.
• Diagnostic testing of electrical equipment used in utilities, mining, and power transmission.
• Identify risks and complete audits before testing and commissioning.
• Communicate with teammates and leadership to update project timeframes and completion schedules.
• Problem solve to resolve issues that arise during builds.
• Follow safety procedures per site requirements.
• Opportunity to step up into a team lead role after proving skills.
