Job summary

Coastwide Engineering is seeking an experienced Boilermaker for workshop-based projects, maintenance, shutdowns and breakdowns on the Illawarra / South Coast NSW. You will work across project and maintenance tasks, following procedures and prioritising safety for yourself and colleagues.

The role covers breakdown response, including after-hours callouts, with a mix of long-term and short-notice work. A strong track record in steel/heavy industry is expected.

Qualifications

Proven industry experience in steel, mining, quarry or heavy industry.
Strong safety awareness.
Ability to work unsupervised.

We’ve built long-term relationships with clients including BlueScope Steel and local mining and quarry operations.

The Role

We’re hiring experienced Workshop Boilermakers.

Your work will cover a balanced mix of:

Follow company procedures at all times

Take responsibility for your own safety and those around you

Project and Maintenance work

Breakdown response (including after-hours callouts)

About You

As a successful candidate, you will need:

Proven industry experience (steel, mining, quarry, heavy industry)

Ability to work unsupervised
