Engineering Trades Australia is sourcing qualified Boilermakers for multiple roles across mining, shutdowns and heavy industrial sites in the Port Kembla/Illawarra area. The positions include work on the No.6 Blast Furnace reline project and a two-day shutdown with long shifts.
Local candidates are preferred and travel allowances are not offered. Start times vary by job: 6am for shutdowns and 7am for daily project work, with long 10–12 hour shifts during shutdowns.

If you are a Qualified Boilermaker with experience with Maintenance Shutdowns, Mining or Heavy Plant & industry then this opportunity may interest you
For trade qualified Boilermakers there is fourimmediately availablepositions working on the No.6 Blast Furnace reline project, working Monday to Saturday in a fulltime capacity, for a minimum of three months duration. There is additional work available on a two day shutdown running next week, August 17-18th - shifts are 10-12hours each day
All work is based in Port Kembla and around the Illawarra area, and without LAFA or travel allowances offered, are best suited to those living locally or within a comfortable driving distance
Pay: Casual Hourly Rate + Overtime + Allowances + Super - No ABN offered
Boilermaker & Fitter Trades: Casual rate $52.50 / Overtime $75.00 / Double-time $100.00
Riggers: Casual rate $48.00 / Overtime $72.00 / Double-time $96.00
