Job summary

WorkPac is seeking a reliable Workshop Labourer for a Rockhampton workshop-based role. You will support the maintenance team with general upkeep, cleaning and basic assembly tasks, contributing to a safe and efficient workspace.

The role offers a 9-day fortnight, a $37.50 per hour rate, and a local Rockhampton location with 10-hour shifts. Ideal for candidates with labouring or workshop experience and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Current Driver's Licence is preferred.
• Previous labouring/workshop or maintenance experience.
• Able to perform physically demanding work.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Reliable and positive attitude, good teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping duties in the workshop.
• Clean and maintain amenities, gardens, and car park areas.
• Assist with workshop maintenance and tidiness.
• Clean mechanical components and parts.
• Assist with basic assembly tasks.
• Operate a gurney to wash parts and radiators.
• Clean radiator hoses and tubes.
• Follow instructions from Leading Hands and Supervisors.
• Maintain a safe and organised work environment.

Our client is a leading provider of industrial equipment and maintenance services, committed to delivering quality outcomes and maintaining a safe, productive workplace. They are seeking a reliable Workshop Labourer to assist with workshop upkeep and support the maintenance team.

What You Will Be Doing
