Job summary

Transport For NSW in Windsor, NSW, seeks a senior role to steer planning, development and delivery of regional ferry facilities and service operations. You will lead cross-functional teams and external contractors to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective outcomes for communities and customers.

The ideal candidate has extensive engineering program delivery experience, maritime sector knowledge, and a proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments while upholding WHS and quality

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in engineering works planning, budgeting, program delivery and managing a direct control workforce, with strong knowledge of WHS, environmental and quality requirements.
  • Demonstrated maritime industry experience and a sound understanding of maritime operations, asset maintenance / management, and service delivery.
  • Proven experience managing operational teams, contractors, and resources in a complex, safety-critical environment.
  • You’re recognised as an ethical and collaborative leader, skilled at stakeholder engagement, contract management and communicating complex information clearly.
  • You bring experience leading multidisciplinary teams, and ferry or infrastructure works delivery to achieve efficient, safe and customer-focused outcomes.

A four-year engineering degree from an Australian university or equivalent overseas qualification is required
