Job summary

Transport for NSW, a leading public transport agency, is seeking a Program Manager to join the Projects division in NSW. You will lead maintenance and rehabilitation programs, ensuring safety, value for money, and reliable movement across the road network.

Based in Wagga Wagga, you will shape forward strategies, influence stakeholders, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes within funding constraints.

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering maintenance, rehabilitation, and construction projects.
  • Knowledge of pavement and corridor infrastructure construction techniques.
  • Four-year civil/structural engineering degree from an Australian university or equivalent.
  • Valid White Card and Australian driver license; willingness to travel and work outside hours.

Responsibilities

In this role, you'll:
  • Be key member of a team delivering critical pavement and corridor maintenance programs that keep regional communities connected and support the safe, reliable movement of people and goods across the NSW road network.
  • You will lead the development and delivery of complex maintenance programs that maximise value for money, asset performance, manage risk and deliver strong customer and network outcomes.
  • You shape forward strategic maintenance and rehabilitation programs, leading multidisciplinary teams, influence key stakeholders and balancing competing priorities to deliver high-quality outcomes within funding constraints.
  • This is a permanent role based in Wagga Wagga.

About You
  • Demonstrated extensive experience managing the development and delivery of maintenance, rehabilitation, and construction projects
  • Sound knowledge of the materials, equipment, and construction techniques used in pavement and corridor infrastructure construction and maintenance
  • A four-year civil/structural engineering degree from an Australian university or an equivalent overseas qualification
  • Valid White Card and a current Australian motor vehicle driver license with willingness to work outside normal working hours and travel on occasion.
