Job summary

Northern Land Council is seeking a Workplace Relations Business Partner to advise employees and leaders on employment matters across Darwin and regional teams. You will manage a varied caseload, draft job descriptions, and support workplace investigations with fairness and procedural due process.

You will help improve policies and deliver learning sessions, while building respectful relationships across cultures.

Qualifications

• Diploma in HR management or Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• At least three years' experience in an HR generalist role with workplace relations interest.
• Strong cross-cultural communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams with confidentiality and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Advise employees and leaders on employment matters and manage a varied caseload.
• Draft position descriptions and clear correspondence; support workplace investigations with fairness.
• Contribute to policy, process improvements and learning with stakeholders; travel to regional/ranger teams.
