Job summary

Vertaview is seeking an experienced Workplace Relations professional to drive strategic and operational outcomes. You will advise leaders on employee and industrial relations, influence policy, and manage complex matters with senior stakeholders within a critical service-focused organisation.

The role covers EBA investigations, dispute resolution, union engagement, Fair Work Commission matters, and policy development, offering meaningful impact across a multi-entity group involved in disability

Qualifications

• Significant experience in workplace relations, industrial relations, or employee relations.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation, workplace regulations, awards, and enterprise agreements.
• Experience managing complex employee relations and industrial relations matters.
• Excellent negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently while partnering effectively across all levels of the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Act as the organisation's subject matter expert on workplace and industrial relations matters, providing strategic advice and practical risk mitigation solutions.
• Oversee and resolve complex employee relations cases, ensuring fair, compliant, and commercially sound outcomes.
• Lead enterprise bargaining activities and cultivate productive relationships with unions and key external stakeholders.
• Represent the organisation in employment-related litigation, Fair Work Commission matters, and industrial disputes.
• Build leadership capability by delivering expert coaching and guidance on workplace relations best practice.
• Shape and enhance workplace relations frameworks, policies, and processes to support organisational performance and compliance.

Required Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Employment Relations, or a related discipline.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (P) - or be willing to obtain
• Current Working with Children Check (P) – State Equivalent - or be willing to obtain
