Qualifications

• 2-3 years of post-admission experience in Workplace Relations law.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and legal research skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Commercially minded with practical, solutions-focused advice across employment, workplace relations and safety matters.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Developing business and commercial awareness, including client service and financial management.
• Strong client focus and proactive relationship-building.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic employment and workplace relations advice across multiple industries and sectors.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts of employment, executive agreements and workplace policies.
• Advise on award coverage, enterprise agreements and compliance with employment and safety legislation.
• Negotiate and lodge enterprise agreements; assist with corporate transactions related employment aspects.
• Support disputes and investigations before the Fair Work Commission, state and federal courts and tribunals.
• Deliver workplace training and CPD sessions; assist with documentation for incentive schemes.
