Job summary

Viva Energy Group in Melbourne or Adelaide is seeking two Workplace Relations Advisors on a 12‑month fixed term contract. You will partner with the People & Culture team to provide practical advice to line managers on employment matters.

Candidates with experience in employee relations, knowledge of Australian legislation, and strong communication skills will help resolve performance, conduct and leave issues while upholding fairness and consistency across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in employee relations or workplace relations within a large, multi-site environment.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, modern awards and/or enterprise agreements.
• Experience handling performance, conduct and workplace conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical workplace relations advice and support to line managers.
• Interpret legislation, awards and agreements related to wages, rostering and entitlements.
• Assist with performance and conduct matters, including documentation.
• Support disputes and interpersonal issues to achieve fair outcomes.
• Prepare investigation records and workplace relations documentation.
• Escalate complex matters to P&C specialists as needed.
• Build trusted relationships with leaders through responsive advice.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of workplace relations capability.
