Job summary

KINNECT on the Sunshine Coast seeks a Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant who can operate as an Occupational Therapist, Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist. You will help injured workers return to meaningful occupations through client-centered care and collaborative planning.

The role includes workplace visits, education for employers, case management of complex injuries, and detailed clinical reporting. Ergonomic assessments and training are also part of the remit.

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA or ESSA.
• Ability to assess injured workers and write clinical reports.
• Strong teamwork and client-centred approach.

Responsibilities

• Assess injured workers to facilitate return-to-work strategies.
• Visit workplaces to educate employers on the health benefits of good work.
• Case manage complex injuries and coordinate with treating doctors and health professionals.
• Provide clinical opinions and detailed report writing.
• Conduct ergonomic assessments in workplace, home and vehicle settings.
• Develop job dictionaries and lead manual handling training.
