Job summary

The University of Canberra is seeking a Workplace Inclusion and Access Specialist to strengthen inclusion, accessibility and compliance across the university. Reporting to the Capability and Culture Manager, you will lead projects, develop frameworks and provide expert advice to staff and leaders.

You will collaborate with leaders and external bodies to deliver measurable outcomes, build governance structures, and promote a safe, inclusive workplace that supports dignity, belonging and equity

Qualifications

• Experience developing, implementing or advising on inclusion, diversity, compliance, governance or policy initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of legislative and regulatory frameworks relating to workplace inclusion, equity, accessibility or employment.
• Proven ability to develop and implement strategies, action plans and governance frameworks that drive objectives.
• Consultative and collaborative approach, building trusted relationships with stakeholders across the University and external regulatory bodies.
• Strong written communication skills, including reports, briefings and recommendations for senior leaders.
• Experience managing projects and delivering outcomes within agreed timeframes.
• Passion and commitment to inclusion, cultural safety, belonging.
