Job summary

ERA-co is a global placemaking consultancy seeking an early-to-mid-career strategist with 3–6 years of experience. You will explore how people use space and how organisational strategy, work and learning models shape outcomes, across workplace and education sectors.

The role involves research, stakeholder interviews, data analysis and turning findings into practical recommendations while collaborating across locations and time zones. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of relevant professional experience in strategy, architecture, design, property or related field.
• Experience in workplace, education, campus planning or related strategy/design environment.
• Strong interest in the future of work, learning and evolving roles of workplaces and campuses.
• Experience in research and analysis turning findings into clear insights.
• Confidence engaging with clients and stakeholders at different levels.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Proficient with Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office; comfortable leveraging AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ERA-co's User Strategy team and global network across multiple projects and time zones.
• Support project leads while owning defined tasks and workstreams.
• Support stakeholder interviews, workshops, presentations, and team briefings.
• Contribute to workplace and education strategies, briefs, space planning studies and client deliverables.
• Research trends, precedents and changing approaches to work and space.
• Use AI and other tools to support research, analysis, and project delivery.
• Undertake data analysis including benchmarking, space demand modelling and portfolio assessments.
• Translate complex data and insights into clear recommendations.
• Use Excel or Power BI to analyse data and InDesign to craft presentations.
• Build client relationships through clear communication and understanding of project needs.
• Assist in proposals, case studies and fee inputs.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and ERA-co tools development.
