Job summary

Journey Beyond is seeking a highly organised Workforce Planner Coordinator to support rostering and workforce planning across our Rail operations. You will assist roster administration and coordinate communications with employees to ensure timely guest experiences.

The role suits someone with administration, scheduling or coordination experience, strong attention to detail and the ability to work across multiple systems; payroll/HR exposure is valued and occasional after-hours work may be

  • Experience in administration, rostering, scheduling, workforce coordination or a similar role.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Confidence working across multiple systems and adapting to new processes and technologies.
  • Experience with payroll, HR or workforce management systems (such as Deputy or Tanda) will be highly regarded.
  • An understanding of Enterprise Agreements and Modern Awards will be highly regarded.

So, who are we looking for?

We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Workforce Planner Coordinator to support workforce planning and rostering activities across our Rail operations.

Working closely with the Workforce Planner, you'll support roster administration, coordinate communication with employees, and contribute to the efficient delivery of workforce planning processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with administration, scheduling or coordination experience who is looking to build their career in workforce planning.

You will be a highly organised administrator with strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing enquiries, maintaining accurate records and building effective working relationships across the business. Your contribution will help ensure our people are in the right place at the right time to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The Fundamentals

To be successful, you'll have:

  • Experience in administration, rostering, scheduling, workforce coordination or a similar role.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.

Due to our 24/7 operation, occasional after-hours and weekend support may be required.
