Job summary

Montagu Group Pty LTD on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland seeks an experienced Work Package Delivery Manager for a major civil infrastructure program delivered under a Progressive Alliance Agreement. You will lead work packages from development and procurement through Alliance award and mobilisation, acting as the integrating point between technical advisors, engineering requirements and Alliance partners.

After award, you will embed within the Alliance to maintain knowledge and relationships,

Responsibilities

• Leading work packages through planning, investigations, requirements definition, procurement support and transition to delivery
• Integrating operational, technical, commercial, environmental, property, stakeholder and assurance requirements into a coherent package strategy
• Establishing delivery strategies with clear scope boundaries, interfaces, assumptions, dependencies and decision rights
• Driving interface resolution across utilities, precincts, property, stakeholders and third parties
• Maintaining package governance, risk, issue and change management with clear ownership and an auditable record
• Supporting procurement, interactive tendering and evaluation activities
• Leading transition planning so package knowledge and relationships transfer effectively into delivery
• Post award, leading technical integration, assurance and compliance, and representing technical and operational interests in Alliance governance forums

The opportunity

A major civil infrastructure program delivered under a Progressive Alliance Agreement is seeking an experienced Work Package Delivery Manager. This is a client side role responsible for leading assigned infrastructure work packages from development and procurement through to Alliance award and mobilisation.

You will act as the key integrating point between technical advisors, engineering requirements and Alliance partners, using sound judgement and evidence based decision making to resolve competing priorities while protecting safety, operability and technical integrity.

Following award, the role transitions into an embedded technical and engineering delivery position within the Alliance, maintaining continuity of knowledge, relationships and technical intent through to delivery.

What you'll be responsible for

What we're looking for

• Demonstrated leadership of complex infrastructure work packages in a multidisciplinary environment
• Strong understanding of engineering governance, operational integration, procurement and delivery assurance
• Ability to lead through influence across organisational boundaries and competing accountabilities
• Highly developed facilitation, negotiation, conflict resolution and executive communication skills
• Commercial awareness and experience in collaborative or relational contracting environments
• Sound judgement and personal integrity, with the ability to maintain trust while making difficult recommendations
• A commitment to safety, customer outcomes, technical integrity and whole of life value

Requirements

• A current White Card
• Personal protective equipment will be required for this role

Contract: 23 November 2026 to 22 November 2028, with a 12 month extension option subject to program requirements

Pay rate: $88.30 to $94.59 per hour depending on experience and suitability
