Job summary

Wayne Phillis Automotive in South Australia is seeking a hands-on Work Health and Safety Officer to oversee WHS across dealership, workshop, parts and service sites. You will coordinate first aid, fire warden and other required safety training; conduct inspections, hazard identifications and risk assessments; and maintain WHS policies and documentation.

• Experience in work health and safety, ideally in a multi-site environment.
• Knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management and workplace safety procedures.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Confidence working with managers, workshop teams and employees at all levels.
• A practical, approachable style with the ability to follow through and get things done.
• Automotive industry experience would be an advantage, but experience from other industries is considered.
