Job summary

St Jude's Health Care Group is seeking an experienced Work Health & Safety Advisor to lead the development and improvement of our safety framework across all operations. You will report to the Chief People & Culture Officer and provide specialist coaching to leaders and staff, turning WHS requirements into practical, workable solutions.

The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, knowledge of legislation, and collaboration with Injury Management, Claims and Quality teams to enhance safety

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Strong pragmatic problem-solving abilities.
• National Police Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical WHS advice and support to managers and employees.
• Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of the WHS Management System.
• Identify hazards, conduct risk assessments and implement control measures.
• Monitor corrective actions and incidents; coordinate investigations.
• Prepare WHS reports and maintain records.
• Develop and review WHS policies and guidance materials.
