Job summary

Toyota Material Handling Australia is seeking a Work Health and Safety Advisor to champion a strong safety culture and support our national operations. You will drive a safer, smarter workplace and partner with the business to create a productive environment, while ensuring compliance across WHSE policies.

Based at our Head Office in Moorebank, NSW, this role involves implementing safety initiatives, auditing, incident investigations and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years WHSE experience in an Industrial environment.
• Experience driving WHSE cultural change.
• Proven experience in an integrated safety management system.
• Experience implementing new safety methodologies and initiatives.
• Internal/desktop and on-site auditing experience.
• Expertise in workplace incident investigation.
• Strong communication, negotiation, listening and adaptability skills.
• Commercial understanding and problem solving ability.
• Project management, organizational and planning skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

• Ensuring WHSE KPI’s, policies and procedures comply with all applicable legislation and standards and are integrated into TMHA safety culture.

Skills and experience:

• Minimum 3 years of WHSE experience in an Industrial environment
• Previous experience/involvement in achieving WHSE cultural change.
• Previous proven experience in managing and working with an integrated safety management system
• Experience in implementing new safety methodologies and initiatives
• Internal auditing experience (desktop and actual)
• Expertise in workplace incident investigation
• Strong Interpersonal skills:- communication, negotiation, influencing, listening, empathy and flexibility
• Commercial understanding
• Proven problem solving ability
• Project management, organisational and planning skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
