Job summary

Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) is seeking a Field Service Technician based out of Cairns to provide on-site servicing, diagnostics and repairs for Toyota forklifts and material handling equipment.

You will travel to customer sites, troubleshoot breakdowns and carry out routine servicing, ensuring minimal downtime and high customer satisfaction. TMHA offers ongoing training, a strong team culture, and career development within Australia’s market leader.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified mechanic with hands-on servicing/repair experience.
• Experience with forklift or heavy equipment is a bonus but not essential.
• Valid Driver's Licence and customer-focused mindset required.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site servicing, diagnostics and repairs for Toyota forklifts and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and perform routine maintenance to keep customers moving.
• Operate from Cairns Branch and travel to customer sites as required.

About the Role

Based out of our Cairns Branch, you’ll be out on the road providing on‑site servicing, diagnostics and repairs for Toyota forklifts and material handling equipment. Every day is different – one moment you’ll be troubleshooting a breakdown, the next you’ll be carrying out routine servicing to keep our customers moving.

What We’re Looking For

• Trade-qualified mechanic (automotive, plant, diesel or similar).
