Job summary

Crafty Monk Brewing Pty Ltd in Tingalpa, QLD is seeking experienced chefs to join our growing kitchen team. We offer full-time and casual opportunities for Chef de Partie and Pizza Chefs, with immediate starts and a collaborative, supportive workplace.

Our venue combines a modern brewery with a wood-fired pizza kitchen, all supported by an all-day dining menu Wednesday to Sunday and a strong focus on quality ingredients and guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial kitchen and commitment to food quality.
• Formal Commercial Cookery qualifications or willingness to learn.
• Strong organisational skills for a busy kitchen.
• Positive attitude, initiative and teamwork.
• Good communication with chefs, FOH and management.
• Solid food safety knowledge and kitchen organisation.
• Wood-fired pizza experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and service across restaurant and pizza kitchen.
• Preparing and delivering dishes to specification with consistency.
• Developing seasonal menus and daily specials reflecting customer preferences.
• Managing food costs, stock and inventory to minimise waste and support profitability.
• Collaborating with wider kitchen and front-of-house for smooth service.
• Maintaining cleanliness and kitchen organisation.
