Job summary

Plymaster is seeking a Wood Machinist - Level 4 to join our Wetherill Park team. As a Wood Machinist, you'll contribute your expertise to create high-quality custom woodwork as part of our carpentry and cabinet making crew.

Your duties include liaising with customers, operating and maintaining machinery, reading technical drawings, collaborating with the design team, and ensuring safety and quality. Full Australian working rights are essential, and experience in carpentry or cabinet making is

• Proficiency with woodworking machinery and hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers in person and by phone to meet needs.
• Operate and maintain woodworking machinery to fabricate joinery.
• Read and interpret technical drawings for precise workmanship.
• Collaborate with design team to offer practical solutions.
• Complete basic computer and EFTPOS operations as required.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality control processes.
• Complete some offsite work as required.

About the role

As a Wood Machinist, you'll contribute your expertise to the creation of high-quality custom woodwork as part of our dynamic carpentry and cabinet making crew.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

• liaising with customers in-person and by phone to meet their needs
• operating/maintaining woodworking machinery to fabricate custom joinery
• reading and interpreting technical drawings for precise workmanship
• collaborating with the design team to offer practical solutions
• completing basic computer and EFTPOS operations as required
• adhering to all relevant safety protocols and quality control processes
• completing some offsite work as required.
