Job summary

Downer is seeking a Deployment Engineer Wireless to join our Telecommunications team in Sydney. You will drive the deployment and integration of wireless infrastructure from feasibility through construction and commissioning, collaborating with designers, project support, and field partners to deliver safe, compliant projects.

Key focus areas include coordinating construction activities, interpreting designs for field delivery, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships to ensure on-time

Qualifications

• Experience in telecom deployment or wireless project delivery.
• Ability to interpret designs and support field work.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and coordination skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Relevant qualifications in Telecommunications or Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction and integration activities for wireless projects.
• Ensure designs are practical and compliant with specs.
• Serve as the link between design and field teams.
• Manage site access, permits, and materials.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to support project outcomes.
