Job summary

Accenture in Ballarat is seeking an experienced Wintel Lead to provide technical leadership across a complex enterprise infrastructure. You will set Windows Server direction, mentor teams and act as senior escalation point for critical issues.

You’ll lead AD/DNS/DHCP, SCCM/MECM, Entra ID, VMware vSphere and Nutanix, while architecting secure, reliable hybrid infrastructure and partnering with security teams. Hybrid Ballarat role with broader Accenture resources.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Windows Server administration and infrastructure engineering.
• Expert knowledge of Windows Server 2012 R2 through 2022.
• Deep hands-on experience with SCCM/MECM for OSD, software deployment and patch management.
• Advanced Active Directory expertise across domain design, domain controllers, GPOs, trusts and replication.
• Strong DNS administration experience, including Infoblox DDI.
• Experience managing Microsoft Entra ID in a hybrid environment.
• Strong VMware vSphere administration across vCenter and ESXi.
• Hands-on experience with Nutanix AHV, AOS and Prism.
• PowerShell scripting and automation capabilities.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement based in Ballarat.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation and ongoing management of Windows Server services across on-prem and hybrid cloud.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to Windows admins.
• Own and govern Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Manage SCCM/MECM for patching, deployment and co-management.
• Administer Infoblox for enterprise DNS/IPAM.
• Administer Entra ID in hybrid environments.
• Manage VMware vSphere and Nutanix environments, including capacity planning and patching.
• Lead post-incident reviews and escalation for critical issues.
• Collaborate with architecture and security teams to maintain standards and compliance.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into practical, supportable solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
