Job summary

Vinarchy Australia Limited is seeking an experienced Packaging Manager to lead packaging operations at the Berri site in South Australia. The role oversees a 24/5 packaging operation with multiple lines for still, sparkling, and cask packaging, driving on-time production within budget and specifications.

You will lead a high-performing team, champion continuous improvement, and foster a lean manufacturing culture while ensuring a safe and productive working environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' functional management experience in a large-scale multi-shift packaging production operation.
• Demonstrated leadership capability with the ability to lead, motivate and develop teams.
• Intermediate computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and database systems, including CMMS.
• Sound business and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Deliver production activities in accordance with the production plan and budget requirements.
• Drive machine efficiency, labour productivity and operational performance.
• Promote continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
• Lead, coach and develop the Packaging Operations team.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards.
• Analyse and report operational and budget performance.
