Job summary

Vinarchy invites applications for a Packaging Manager at the Berri site in South Australia. The role oversees a 24/5 packaging operation across still wine, sparkling wine and cask packaging, ensuring on-time production within budget and specifications.

You will lead a high-performing team, drive continuous improvement, uphold safety and quality standards, and partner on workforce planning and capital projects. A strong background in large-scale packaging and lean practices is essential.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' functional management experience in a large-scale multi-shift packaging production operation.
Demonstrated leadership capability with the ability to lead, motivate and develop teams.
Intermediate computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and database systems, including CMMS.
Sound business and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

Deliver packaging production activities in line with the production plan and budget.
Drive machine efficiency, labour productivity and operational performance.
Promote continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
Lead, coach and develop the Packaging Operations team, and manage performance and safety.
Promote a quality-first culture across packaging operations.
