Job summary

UGL is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor for the Sybella Wind Farm near Mount Isa. You will supervise mechanical installation onsite, coordinate crews and subcontractors, and ensure work aligns with safety, schedule and quality standards.

You will lead with contractor management, resolve issues in real time, and report progress to project leadership while upholding strong safety practices and compliance with specifications.

Qualifications

• Trade or technical qualification in mechanical discipline.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role on construction projects.
• Experience in energy, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
• Strong leadership and contractor management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid communication skills and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical installation works onsite to meet project timelines.
• Coordinate subcontractors and crews to ensure efficient execution.
• Monitor quality of works and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Identify and resolve site issues to minimise delays.
• Ensure safe work practices and lead daily pre-starts.
• Track progress and support reporting to project leadership.
