Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to join the team at Bango Wind Farm on Ngunnawal Country, NSW. You’ll maintain and troubleshoot wind turbines, perform scheduled and unscheduled servicing, and help keep Australia’s wind power turning.

This role involves climbing turbines, working at heights, completing documentation, and travelling to other sites as required. A strong safety mindset and a current driver’s license are essential, with on-site training provided for the wind

Qualifications

• Proficient in fault finding (electrical equipment).
• Electrical qualification or equivalent required.
• Able to complete physically demanding tasks at heights.
• Current unrestricted driver's license.
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of wind turbines.
• Carry out annual maintenance, retrofit works and component exchanges.
• Perform high voltage switching according to site procedures.
• Travel to other sites as required.
