Job summary

Torra Staffing and Recruitment in Newcastle is establishing a brand-new wind energy service facility. The Service Coordinator will manage service and parts orders, quotations, invoicing and customer communications to keep daily operations moving as the team grows.

You will coordinate with technicians, suppliers and global support, help establish local processes, and contribute to building a robust service operation from the ground up in a key regional role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in service coordination, planning or a similar position
• Strong customer service skills and commercial awareness
• Experience with orders, quotations, purchase orders and invoicing
• Confidence using Excel, Outlook and ERP or service management systems
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and follow-through
• Clear and professional communication skills
• A reliable, flexible and solutions-focused approach
• The ability to prioritise and work independently

Responsibilities

• Creating and processing service and parts orders
• Prioritising orders around customer and operational requirements
• Keeping customers informed of order progress, equipment availability and fleet status
• Preparing approved quotations and following up purchase orders
• Reviewing labour, materials, travel and other costs before invoicing
• Maintaining accurate pricing, order and customer information within the ERP system
• Coordinating with technicians, suppliers and global support teams
• Understanding customer requirements and upcoming demand
• Managing local expenses and supporting the Service Manager with general office and team coordination
• Helping establish and improve local systems and processes
