Job summary

Front Foot in Melbourne partners with MDW to appoint an experienced Wills & Estates lawyer as a Partner and practice leader. Lead an existing team, advise on complex private-client matters and help shape the practice’s next stage of growth.

You will lead estate planning and administration, supported by cross-firm referrals, and play a key role in mentoring junior lawyers and expanding client networks. Melbourne-based with regional arrangements considered.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex estate planning, trusts and succession for high-net-worth clients.
• Probate and estate administration with sensitivity to family and financial issues.
• Collaborative work with litigation colleagues on contested matters.
• Leading and mentoring a team and developing client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Wills & Estates team and develop its people.
• Provide leadership in complex private-client matters and referrals.
• Grow the practice and manage key client relationships.
• Collaborate with Litigation on contested matters and expansions.
