Gorilla Jobs Pty Ltd is representing an expert law firm seeking a Managing Team Lead to run the Wills & Estates practice in Brisbane. The role involves leading the Brisbane team, mentoring lawyers, and managing a caseload of complex files in a high-stakes environment.

Admitted in Queensland with a current practising certificate and 7+ PAE in Wills & Estates are essential. Strong drafting, advocacy and client communication are required, with a view toward future Accredited Specialist status.

About the Position:

You will lead the Brisbane Wills & Estates team and manage a caseload of your own.

• Lead, supervise and mentor the team, and guide them on complex files
• Advise clients through stressful and life-changing matters with clear guidance
• Manage team performance, workflow and file quality
• Build client and referral relationships in Brisbane
• Work with colleagues across the firm's other offices

What you'll need to succeed in this role:

• Admitted in Queensland, with a current practising certificate
• 7+ PAE in Wills & Estates
• Experience leading or supervising lawyers, or a clear readiness to step up
• Strong advocacy, advisory and drafting skills
• Empathy and clear communication with clients in difficult circumstances
