Southern Cross University’s Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Unit leads coordinated student placements across health disciplines. As the Work Integrated Learning Coordinator, you will connect nursing students with meaningful opportunities, build strong host-organisation links, and support students throughout placements.

You will help ensure placements are well-coordinated, compliant with accreditation requirements, and appropriately documented, reporting and data management across systems.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification and experience in a high-volume coordination, client service or stakeholder-focused role.
• Strong relationship management and communication skills with students, academics and external partners.
• Experience interpreting policies, procedures or compliance requirements.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency with databases and Microsoft Office; able to learn new systems quickly.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate large volumes of student placements across multiple disciplines while meeting deadlines and accreditation standards.
• Resolve placement issues and provide responsive, solutions-focused advice to students, academics and providers.
• Undertake placement risk assessment and agreement processes to support safe learning environments.
• Maintain accurate placement records and student data across systems.
