Southern Cross University’s Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Unit plays a critical role in supporting thousands of student placement experiences each year across health and related disciplines. Working closely with students, academics and industry partners, the team ensures placements are well coordinated, compliant and aligned to professional accreditation requirements.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification and experience in a high-volume coordination, client service or stakeholder focused role.
• Strong relationship management and communication skills with students, academics and external partners.
• Experience interpreting policies, procedures or compliance requirements and applying them in practice.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and complex administrative processes.
• Confident using databases, digital systems and Microsoft Office, with the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating large volumes of student placements across multiple disciplines while ensuring deadlines, compliance requirements and accreditation standards are met.
• Resoving placement issues and providing responsive, solutions focused advice to students, academics and providers.
• Undertaking placement risk assessment and agreement processes to support safe and compliant learning environments.
• Maintaining accurate placement records, reporting and student data across systems and databases.
