Job summary

Aesthetic Building and Facades Pty Ltd in Sydney, NSW, is seeking a WHSEQ Officer to lead health, safety, environment and quality across construction projects. This full-time role focuses on developing and monitoring WHSEQ systems, driving a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with regulations.

You will conduct site inspections, provide training, investigate incidents, and collaborate with project teams to embed WHSEQ into daily operations.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Work Health and Safety or related field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a WHSEQ role.
Thorough knowledge of WHSEQ legislation and regulations.
Excellent communication and stakeholder liaison skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficient with WHSEQ software and technologies.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement and monitor WHSEQ management systems and procedures.
Conduct site inspections and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
Provide training and support to site teams to promote a strong safety culture.
Investigate incidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations and industry standards.
Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to integrate WHSEQ into daily operations.
Prepare and present WHSEQ reports for management and regulatory bodies.
Continually seek opportunities to improve WHSEQ systems and processes.
