Job summary

LEVYL PTY LTD is seeking a WHS/HSEQ Coordinator to support safety, compliance and administrative functions across the business from its Kingsgrove site in Sydney. The role involves maintaining HSEQ systems, incident investigations, audits and training while coordinating records for contractors and employees.

Ideal candidates will have WHS knowledge, excellent organisation and stakeholder engagement; a Certificate IV in WHS is highly desirable and a current driver's licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• Sound understanding of WHS legislation, safe work practices and compliance requirements.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Confident written and verbal communication, with strong stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Exposure to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 would be advantageous.
• Current driver’s licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining HSEQ management systems, policies, procedures, registers and records.
• Coordinating reporting data, KPIs and HSEQ documentation.
• Supporting incident and hazard reporting, investigations and corrective actions.
• Following up outstanding actions with managers and supervisors.
• Coordinating employee, contractor and subcontractor compliance records.
• Monitoring licences, certifications, training and competency requirements.
• Coordinating police checks, work rights checks, pre-employment medicals and health monitoring.
• Supporting workers compensation, return-to-work and injury management administration.
• Assisting with internal audits, workplace inspections and audit preparation.
• Supporting WHS, Quality and Environmental tender response.
• Helping maintain ISO certification requirements across ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

Looking to appoint an WHS / HSEQ Coordinator, this is an opportunity to build broad safety experience within an established business, where strong administration, attention to detail and proactive follow-through, genuinely matter.

The Leaders

Working closely with the broader HSEQ team, this role will provide day-to-day administrative, compliance and operational support across the business.

You will partner with managers, supervisors, employees, contractors and external stakeholders, helping ensure HSEQ systems, records and requirements, remain accurate, current and effectively managed.

The role also includes site attendance from time to time.

The Opportunity

This is a varied coordination role covering HSEQ systems, compliance, incident investigation, training and audit support. With exposure across safety systems, compliance, injury management, audits, training, contractors and quality while working with a range of stakeholders across several businesses, there is plenty to get stuck into!

The role will involve:

About You

Levyl is seeking someone with previous safety experience ideally within an operational, technical, construction, engineering, facilities or similarly regulated environment.

You are likely to be someone who enjoys keeping things organised, following actions through to completion and working across multiple priorities without losing sight of the detail.

You will ideally bring:

• Sound understanding of WHS legislation, safe work practices and compliance requirements
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Confident written and verbal communication, with strong stakeholder engagement capabilities
• Team player mentality, able to prioritise, multitask and find solutions
• Exposure to incident investigations and ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 would be advantageous
• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety would be highly desirable, along with a current driver’s licence
