Job summary

Amazon Australia is seeking a Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Coordinator for the Fulfillment Center team. You will work under the WHS Manager, ensuring high safety standards and acting as a role model for the FC workforce.

This is an hourly paid role, with Monday to Thursday night shifts, potentially rotating based on business needs. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, with training in standard WHS tools provided.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Bachelors in Safety related field or Cert IV in WHS.

Responsibilities

• Identify and inform management of compliance issues, safety risks and opportunities via daily/weekly/monthly inspections.
• Facilitate incident investigation process.
• Maintain required paperwork to comply with Amazon and local regulations.
• Enter Safety incident information in internal database promptly.
• Perform safety observations and audits.
• Coach Area Managers to complete safety responsibilities.
• Participate in process improvements and manage actions to completion.
• May support fire prevention or hazardous waste activities depending on location.
