Job summary

ProFound People is partnering with an Australian R&D and manufacturing company to fill a Work and Health Safety Coordinator/Officer role. You will support day-to-day WHS activities, compliance, documentation, training and continuous improvement across engineering and manufacturing operations.

The role suits someone hands-on, well-organised, and confident working with technical teams; you will drive risk assessments, incident investigations, inductions and toolbox talks while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Experience in a WHS Officer, Coordinator, or similar role.
• Cert IV in WHS or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and risk management.
• Experience with WHS documentation, reporting, and compliance processes.
• Strong communication, organisational, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across engineering and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

Position

We're seeking a WHS Coordinator / Officer to support day to day WHS activities, compliance, documentation, training, and continuous improvement. This role would suit someone who is hands on, organised, and confident working with operational and technical teams.
