Base pay range

About the Role

As a WHS Coordinator, you will work closely with the project team to embed safety, quality, and environmental best practices into day-to-day site operations. Reporting to the functional Head of HSE, this role supports the implementation of the Group’s integrated management system across each development project.

Key Responsibilities

· Champion L&D initiatives and facilitate their adoption within the team and subcontractors.

· Lead Safety meetings, report on and provide analysis of HSE performance, and ensure key learnings are shared across the project.

· Conduct site-based inspections, audits, training, and incident investigations, and provide coaching to internal teams and subcontractors

· Review SWMS, undertake risk assessments, and lead Site Walks and task observations

· Promote continuous improvement in Health and Safety, and Environmental processes, compliance, and knowledge sharing across projects

Skills & Experience

Your experience will include a dedicated WHS role delivering medium to high-density residential or commercial construction projects in a local market and will be backed by formal Work Health & Safety qualifications. You will be required to call upon a deep knowledge of WHS legislation and related ISO standards complements. This knowledge will be complemented by your practical skills in risk management, site safety, stakeholder engagement, and auditing. Proficiency in HammerTech is desirable.
