The Role

Our Smithfield site in Western Sydney, manufactures a range of more than 60 fruit juice, fruit drink and water ice products and forms part of the juice portfolio - operating five days a week, 24 hours a day. The site currently manufactures approximately 110 million litres of finished goods every year including The Juice Brothers, Daily Juice, Mildura and Zooper Dooper.

Bega Group is seeking a Safety Advisor to join our flagship site in Smithfield, with additional support to Wetherill Park. In this role, you'll help shape a strong safety culture by providing expert guidance, coaching, and support across all levels of the business. You'll play a key role in driving safe practices, ensuring compliance, and fostering continuous improvement-both strategically and on the ground.

Responsibilities

• Partner with team members and leaders to foster a proactive, inclusive safety culture
• Guide and coach others to identify and manage safety risks with confidence and care
• Analyse safety data to uncover insights and opportunities for improvement
• Support the development and maintenance of risk assessments and critical control registers
• Contribute to safety reporting and help drive continuous improvement initiatives

About you

• A Diploma or Cert IV in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent experience)
• A practical understanding of Australian WHS legislation and systems
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust across diverse teams
• A collaborative mindset and a genuine passion for mentoring and supporting others
• Excellent time management and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
