About the Role:

The Health & Safety Manager will play a critical leadership role in upholding the company’s commitment to safety across civil construction projects. Key responsibilities include:

• Mentoring and supporting site personnel in workplace health and safety practices
• Conducting site inspections and audits, with feedback and recommendations
• Identifying and mitigating safety risks and enhancing systems
• Assisting Project Managers with WHS compliance and implementation
• Supporting the preparation and maintenance of safety plans and documentation
• Ensuring compliance with all legislation, standards, and specifications
• Managing return-to-work and injury rehabilitation processes
• Accurately reporting and contributing to safety solutions

Key Requirements:

• Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent)
• At least 10 years’ experience in safety roles within the civil construction sector
• Proven leadership and communication skills
• Previous team management experience
• Valid C-Class Driver’s Licence
