Action OHS Consulting is seeking a WHS Consultant to join our team in a genuine hybrid role, delivering practical health and safety solutions while helping clients implement Safety Champion Software.

You’ll work across consulting and software implementations, training users, translating client WHS needs into effective configurations, and contributing to audits, risk assessments and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• We are seeking a WHS Consultant who understands health and safety and enjoys technology.
• Experience with WHS software, audits or safety programs is beneficial.
• Willingness to learn and develop across consulting and software implementations.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients to deliver practical, people-focused health and safety solutions.
• Lead or support the implementation of Safety Champion Software for new customers.
• Understand a client’s WHS processes and translate them into an effective Safety Champion setup.
• Guide customers through configuration, onboarding and implementation.
• Deliver system training and help clients build knowledge to manage Safety Champion.
• Help clients use technology to strengthen and streamline WHS processes.
• Bring WHS knowledge to software implementation to connect safety practice with configuration.
• Deliver Small Business Audits as part of the WorkSafe Victoria OHS Essentials Program.
• Work across broader WHS consulting assignments based on experience and goals.

WHS Consultant (Software Implementation)

Are you passionate about making workplaces healthier and safer, but also love technology, systems and finding smarter ways to work? We’re looking for a motivated WHS Consultant to join our growing team at Action OHS Consulting.

This is a genuine hybrid opportunity. You’ll work with clients across a broad range of health and safety consulting projects, while also helping new customers implement Safety Champion Software.

You don’t need to be an IT specialist. We’re looking for someone who understands health and safety, enjoys working with technology and gets genuine satisfaction from helping clients improve the way they work.

You might already be an experienced OHS consultant, auditor, trainer or safety professional. Perhaps you’ve implemented WHS software, a CRM, HRIS or another business system. Or maybe you’re simply the person who is always keen to explore a new platform, system, automation or piece of technology.

If you have Safety Champion or other WHS software experience, that’s fantastic. However, if you don’t tick every box just yet, we’d still love to hear from you.

We’re committed to developing our people and providing opportunities to build capability across both consulting and software implementation. Our existing consultant development pathway includes Safety Champion training, shadowing and supported implementations before progressing to independent delivery.

What you'll get to do

• Work closely with clients to deliver practical, people-focused health and safety solutions.
• Lead or support the implementation of Safety Champion Software for new customers.
• Understand a client’s WHS processes, people and operational needs and help translate these into an effective Safety Champion set-up.
• Guide customers through configuration, onboarding and implementation. Safety Champion’s existing customer process assigns an Implementation Consultant to new customers to lead configuration and onboarding.
• Deliver system training and help clients build the knowledge and confidence to manage Safety Champion within their organisation.
• Help clients use technology to strengthen and streamline their health and safety processes.
• Bring your WHS knowledge to software implementation, helping clients connect good safety practice with the way their system is configured and used.
• Deliver Small Business Audits as part of the WorkSafe Victoria OHS Essentials Program.
• Work across broader WHS consulting assignments based on your experience, interests and development goals.
