Job summary

Uniting is seeking a Leisure & Wellness Coordinator for Nareen Gardens in Bateau Bay. This permanent, full-time role focuses on delivering wellness services, fostering social connections and supporting residents with community-based activities.

You’ll work with clients and families, ensuring privacy, and collaborating with the team to create enriching environments that reflect Uniting’s values.

Qualifications

• Ideally, you’ll have a Certificate II in Aged Care or an Individual Support background, or be working towards it.
• Good understanding of health, social or aged care services industries.
• Ability to assist clients with medication and recognise health body systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality, timely and effective wellness services.
• Communicate well with clients with varied needs and backgrounds.
• Promote privacy and right of our clients in line with policy and legislation.
• Support residents in community-based recreational and social activities.
