Job summary

Bupa Riverstone Village is seeking a Wellbeing Support Assistant to keep residents' homes clean and comfortable, while assisting with daily living tasks. You’ll work within a supportive team at Kelvin Grove, Palmerston North, delivering hygienic and respectful care to residents.

Role includes balanced shifts across mornings and late afternoons, with a permanent part-time contract and a focus on person-centered care and dignity for our village community.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in aged care, disability support, or community services is desirable.
• Ideal 2+ years in customer service or support roles such as hospitality or home-based care.
• First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly cleaning of residents' apartments to a high standard.
• Daily bed making and weekly bed changing for residents.
• Assist with dressing, personal hygiene, and meals for residents.
• Support with laundry collection and return; manage supplies prudently.
• Report faults or stock needs to the manager; adhere to safety policies.
