Job summary

Bupa St Kilda Village is seeking a Wellbeing Support Assistant in Cambridge for a permanent part-time role. You will help ensure a clean, comfortable environment and assist residents with daily living tasks while working as part of a supportive Household team.

The role emphasizes hygienic cleaning, resident care assistance, and respectful, dignified service. Prior aged care or disability support experience is valued, with First Aid certification preferred and local residency in Cambridge.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care, disability support, or community services preferred.
• 2+ years in customer service or support (hospitality, housekeeping, or home-based care).
• First Aid Certificate is desirable or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly cleaning of residents' apartments to a high standard.
• Complete daily cleaning tasks for community areas as scheduled.
• Provide daily bed making and weekly bed changing services.
• Assist with residents' laundry and personal care assistance.
• Support with dressing, hygiene, and meal deliveries as needed.
• Provide companionship and general services to residents.
• Report faults or supply needs to the manager and help manage supplies.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and protect residents' privacy.
• Treat residents with respect and dignity.
