Job summary

Taronga Zoo Sydney is seeking a Health and Wellbeing Coordinator to join our Work Health and Safety team. Based at Sydney’s Taronga Zoo, this full-time role coordinates a broad range of occupational health activities to support the health, wellbeing and recovery of our people.

The role focuses on injury management, return to work, health surveillance and health monitoring programs, and wellbeing initiatives across a diverse workforce.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating health, wellbeing, injury management, rehabilitation, or return-to-work programs.
• Strong admin and organisational skills with ability to manage competing priorities and records.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with employees and leaders.
• Experience with databases and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to handle sensitive information professionally.
• Experience in workers compensation, return-to-work, health and wellbeing, rehabilitation, HR or allied health is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate injury management and return to work activities to support recovery.
• Manage health surveillance and health monitoring programs.
• Support delivery of health and wellbeing initiatives across the organisation.
• Assist with psychosocial risk management activities.
• Maintain accurate health and wellbeing records and systems.
• Work with employees, leaders and external providers to support health activities.
