Job summary

Cardijn College Marian Campus in Noarlunga Downs seeks an experienced Wellbeing Coordinator (Counsellor) to lead student wellbeing services and provide professional counselling to students. This role combines direct counselling with leadership of the wellbeing function, ensuring high‑quality support for students and families within a Catholic school community.

You will report to the Deputy Head of Campus, oversee a wellbeing team, and work with educators, families and external agencies to

Qualifications

• University qualifications in Counselling or a related discipline.
• Current professional registration and/or membership with a recognised professional body.
• Demonstrated experience in a comparable counselling or wellbeing leadership role.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Current RRHAN-EC certification.
• First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain).
• Eligibility to work within Catholic Education South Australia.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Wellbeing Team and oversee daily operations.
• Coordinate counselling and wellbeing services across the Marian Campus.
• Manage wellbeing resources and budgets in consultation with business leaders.
• Develop and review wellbeing policies, procedures and strategic priorities.
• Support staff managing students through scholarship programs and risk indicators.
• Collaborate with parents, educators and external agencies to secure positive outcomes.
