Job summary

Clough, in a joint venture with Saipem, is delivering the CERES urea project in Western Australia. We are seeking a Welding Supervisor to join the site-based team on Project CERES in Karratha.

The role reports to the Construction Manager and oversees welding activities, ensuring safety, quality and schedule adherence. You will lead a team of technicians, coordinate with project managers and engineers, and ensure compliance with SMP systems and industry standards while working on a 19:9 rotation

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a supervisory role.
• Experience supervising SMP projects, preferably in oil, gas or construction industries.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of SMP systems, safety protocols and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution and supervision of welding activities on site.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards and procedures.
• Lead and manage a team of technicians to ensure high performance.
• Monitor progress and troubleshoot issues to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks to maintain welding standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve project outcomes.
