Job summary

Transcend Managed Services is seeking MIG Welders for ongoing projects in Wingfield, SA. You will weld steel rebar cages into D-Walls, tunnel segments and pile cages, reading and interpreting drawings, and performing general fabrication on site.

Day shift 6am-2pm with overtime available and opportunities to progress. Experience with MIG welding and reinforcing is preferred. You must be punctual, reliable and able to work well in a team.

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience is required.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and plans.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Team player with good communication.
• Previous experience with reinforcing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• MIG welding steel rebar cages into D-Walls, tunnel segments and pile cages.
• Read and interpret drawings and plans.
• General fabrication using grinders, drills, etc.
• Assist with steel tying and steelfixing.

We currently have multiple positions open for MIG Welders for some of our large upcoming infrastructure projects around South Australia!

Factory based work in Wingfield, ongoing and plenty of room to progress!

About the job

• MIG Welding steel rebar cages into structures such as D-Walls, Tunnel segments, O-Rings and pile cages.
• Reading and interoperating drawings and plans.
• General fabrication using tools such as grinders, drills etc.
• Aspects of steel tying and steelfixing.
• Day shift hours from 6AM to 2PM.
• Overtime available and room to progress.

About you

• MIG Welding experience necessary.
• Be able to read and understand drawings and plans.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Can work as part of a team.
• Previous experience working with reinforcing preferred.
