Hilton Manufacturing is seeking an experienced A/S Robot Welder Operator (Setter/Programmer) for our Dandenong South facility. You will set up and program robotic welders, ensure welding parameters meet material specs, and perform first-off inspections against drawings and customer specifications.

The role requires experience with Fanuc/ABB/Lincoln robots, reading engineering drawings, and performing routine maintenance, with an early finish every Friday for better work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Certificate II in Engineering, Production, or a related trade qualification (desirable).
• Experience setting and operating robotic welding equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and job sheets.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.

A/S Robot Welder Operator (Setter / Programmer) | Early Finish Fridays | Dandenong South

We are seeking an experienced Robot Welder Operator (Setter/Programmer) to join our manufacturing team at our Dandenong South facility.

About the Role

Reporting to the Supervisor, you will be responsible for setting, programming and operating robotic welding equipment to ensure production requirements are achieved safely, efficiently and to quality standards and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate robotic welders (i.e. Fanuc, ABB, Lincoln).
• Modify welding programs and parameters to suit varying material types and thicknesses, including steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
• Program robotic welders for new products and parts.
• Conduct first-off inspections and quality checks against engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on robotic welding equipment.
• Maintain and adjust welding jigs and fixtures used in production.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Measure and inspect manufactured components accurately.
• Complete production tasks safely, efficiently and on schedule.

About You

• Certificate II in Engineering, Production, or a related trade qualification. (desirable)
• Experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience setting and operating robotic welding equipment.
• Strong understanding of welding parameters.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and job sheets.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Hours of work

Monday to Thursday 2.30 pm - 10.55 pm

Friday 12.00 pm - 6.00 pm
