Quirindi Engineering is seeking a talented Welder Metal Fabricator to join our growing team in NSW. This full-time role offers a competitive base salary with the opportunity for regular overtime and an immediate start.

You'll work on steel fabrication and welding tasks, operate guillotine, press brake, lathe and milling machinery, and read technical drawings. A commitment to safety and teamwork is essential.

Formación

• Experience in welding/metal fabrication in a similar role.
• Skilled in steel fabrication and operating metalworking machinery.
• Hydraulics experience is desirable but not essential.
• C6 Crane or dogman licence desirable but not essential.
• Strong problem-solving and a team-oriented approach.
• Commitment to workplace safety.

Quirindi Engineering are seeking a talented Welder Metal Fabricator tradesperson to join our growing team. We offer a competitive base salary as well as opportunity for a fair amount of overtime if desired. We are a local family-owned business offering fabrication, welding, machining and hydraulics, and a retail store selling a huge range of parts and spares, plus crane hire.

Key responsibilities

• Complete a range of steel fabrication and welding tasks
• Operate workshop machinery and equipment including guillotine, press brake, lathe, milling machine
• Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role
• Competency in steel fabrication processes and skill in operating metalworking machinery
• Experience in hydraulics desirable but not essential
• C6 Crane or dogman licence desirable but not essential
• Excellent problem-solving skills and initiative
• A commitment to workplace safety and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
